| – | Remove side trim (right-side) → Chapter. |
| – | Remove side trim (left-side) → Chapter. |
| – | Take out floor covering in luggage compartment. |
| – | If applicable, remove frame for load-through hatch → Chapter. |
| – | Make sure convertible roof is closed and convertible roof compartment is raised. |
| – | Unfasten back panel trim -1- at clips -2- (6x). |

| q | Lower convertible roof compartment. |
| q | Open convertible roof. |
| q | Unfasten back panel trim -2- at clips -1- (2x). |
| q | Lift out back panel trim -2-. |
| t | Removing |
| – | Install back panel trim -2- in reverse order of removal. |
