Removing and installing exhauster pump

Removing
–  Carefully pull engine cover panel off mounting studs, one after the other.
   
–  Unbolt coolant expansion tank -arrow-.
–  Detach electrical connector at coolant shortage indicator switch -F66- on underside of expansion tank.
–  Lay aside coolant expansion tank with coolant hoses -1 ... 3- connected.

–  Remove bolt -1- and detach vacuum hose with hose connection from exhauster pump.
–  Remove bolts -arrows- and take off exhauster pump.

Installing
Installation is performed in reverse sequence; note the following:

Renew O-rings
–  Set drive lugs of exhauster pump so they engage in slots in camshaft when exhauster pump is installed -arrows-.
