Installing > < Removing and installing condenser

A4 Cabriolet Mk2

Removing
Removing
–  Drain refrigerant circuit → Air conditioner with refrigerant R134a.
–  Detach refrigerant pipes from condenser → Chapter.
–  Remove air ducts between bumper and condenser.
–  If applicable, unfasten or remove power steering cooler (not always necessary, depends on vehicle) → Running gear; Rep. Gr.48
–  If applicable, unfasten or remove radiator fan control unit -J293- (not always necessary, depends on vehicle) → Engine, mechanics; Rep. Gr.19
–  Unplug connector from high-pressure sender -G65--B-.
   
–  Screw out bolts -A- (tightening torque 5 Nm).
