Detaching/attaching cover: Auxiliary heater sensor handling

Preparation with auxiliary heater in position
Preparation with auxiliary heater in position
–  Switch off ignition and auxiliary heater.
–  Unfasten coolant expansion tank cap to dissipate pressure in coolant circuit.
Further preparation for horizontally installed auxiliary heater (auxiliary heater installed horizontally between engine and left suspension strut dome):
–  Detach coolant expansion tank from vehicle → Engine, mechanics; Rep. Gr.19.
Further preparation for vertically installed auxiliary heater (auxiliary heater installed vertically behind front end module in area beneath left headlight):
–  Remove noise insulation → Rep. Gr.50.
–  Move lock carrier to service position → Rep. Gr.50.
–  Remove charge air cooler on appropriate vehicles → Engine, mechanics; Rep. Gr.21.
