Lubricate all bearings and moving surfaces with grease -G 000 450 02-.
1 - Ball
2 - Rubber ring
3 - Ball guide
4 - Rubber ring
5 - Washer
q   Lip points towards ball guide → Item
6 - Circlip
q   Take out before removing ball
7 - Spring
8 - Spacer sleeve
9 - Washer
10 - Circlip
11 - Noise insulation
q   -Arrow- marked on noise insulation points in direction of travel
12 - Gear knob
q   With boot
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
13 - Nut, 8 Nm
14 - Gear lever bearing
15 - Bolt, 6 Nm
q   Secures gear lever bearing to selector housing
16 - Gear lever
q   Bend points towards rear
17 - Bolt
18 - Nut, 8 Nm
19 - Selector housing
20 - Joint body
q   For selector rod/gear lever
21 - Nut, 10 Nm
q   Self-locking
q   Renew
22 - Bush

  Note
Lubricate all bearings and moving surfaces with grease -G 000 450 02-.
1 - Bellows
q   Secure to selector rod with commercially available instant adhesive
2 - Washer
3 - Ball socket
q   To remove, bend open peened points on selector rod → Item.
4 - Nut, 10 Nm
5 - Ball stud
6 - Ball socket
q   To remove pull off retaining clip → Item.
7 - Connecting rod
q   To remove pull off retaining clip → Item.
8 - Bush
9 - Bush
10 - Bolt, 20 Nm
11 - Sleeve
12 - Retaining clip
13 - Bolt, 40 Nm
14 - Push rod
q   With bush, bolt and washers
15 - Hexagon socket head bolt, 23 Nm
16 - Washer
17 - Gear lever bearing
18 - Clamping ring for bellows
19 - Bellows
q   To remove, carefully pull bellows over selector rod → Item and push rod → Item.
q   When installing, align with markings on selector rod → Item and push rod → Item.
20 - Hexagon socket head bolt, 23 Nm
21 - Clamp
22 - Selector rod
23 - Joint body
q   For selector rod/gear lever
24 - Cap nut, 20 Nm
25 - Gearbox selector lever
