Mounting gearbox on assembly stand

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Support clamp -VW 313-

t	Engine and gearbox support -VW 540-

t	Workshop hoist -VAS 6100-

t	Lifting aid -T40013-

Procedure

–	Insert lifting aid -T40013- in lifting eye on gearbox and secure.

–	Fasten hook of workshop crane -VAS 6100- in 4th notch -arrow- on lifting tackle -T40013-.

–	Lift gearbox with workshop hoist -VAS 6100- and lifting aid -T40013-.

–	Secure engine and gearbox support -VW 540- to gearbox and fit into support clamp -VW 313- or engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-.
