  Caution
t  Vehicles with ceramic glow plugs: The ceramic glow plugs fitted in this engine are very easily damaged and must not be removed when checking the compression pressure.
t  Handling ceramic glow plugs → Chapter.
To check compression (on vehicles with ceramic and metal glow plugs), select the function “Self-diagnosis compatible systems” in “Guided Fault Finding”.
