Removing
  Note
All cable ties which are released or cut open when removing must be fitted in the same position when installing.
–  Pull off engine cover panel -arrows-.
  A10-10294
–  Take electrical connector -arrow- for temperature sender after particulate filter -G527- out of bracket.
–  Unplug electrical connector.

–  Detach cable ties -1- and -2- and move wiring clear.

–  Vehicles with auxiliary heater: remove bolts -arrows- securing exhaust pipe for auxiliary/additional heater to noise insulation.

–  Release quick-fasteners -1- and -2- and take off front noise insulation.

–  Unscrew bolts -1 ... 4- and remove bracket for front exhaust pipe.

–  Unscrew temperature sender after particulate filter -G527--item 1-.

Disregard -arrows-.

Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Install temperature sender after particulate filter -G527- as illustrated.
l  Angle -α- = 27° ± 5°
–  Fit cable ties -1- and -2- in the original positions when installing.
