Removing and installing oil filter bracket - engine code letters AKE, AYM, BAU, BCZ, BFC
Removing and installing oil filter bracket - engine code letters AKE, AYM, BAU, BCZ, BFC
Removing
–  Remove starter catalytic converter: vehicles with front-wheel drive → Chapter, vehicles with four-wheel drive → Chapter.
–  Remove turbocharger → Chapter.
–  Remove mechanical exhaust gas recirculation valve → Chapter.
   
–  Loosen bolt -arrow- securing coolant pipe.
  A17-0114
–  Remove bolt -2-.
–  Detach oil pipe -1-.
–  Remove bolts -arrows-.
–  Move coolant pipe to side and remove oil filter bracket.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

Renew gaskets, seals and O-rings.
–  Install turbocharger → Chapter.
–  Install mechanical exhaust gas recirculation valve  → Chapter.
–  Install starter catalytic converter: vehicles with front-wheel drive → Chapter, vehicles with four-wheel drive → Chapter.
