Initialising telephone/telematics control unit J526 > < Observe the following if renewing control unit:

A4 Cabriolet Mk2

Renewing telematics SIM card
Renewing telematics SIM card
Proceed as follows if telematics SIM cards are defective:
Request replacement per fax: Hotline No. in Germany: 0800/2 83 47 27
–  Remove telephone/telematics control unit -J526- → Chapter.
   
–  Loosen both bolts -arrows- on underside of telephone/telematics control unit -J526- and detach cover.
  A91-0444
–  Take telematics SIM card -arrow- out of telephone/telematics control unit -J526-.
–  Complete and submit fax form “Release of Audi telematics (Fax)”.
–  Insert the new telematics SIM card (must be already released) into telephone/telematics control unit -J526-.
–  Destroy old telematics SIM card.
–  Install telephone/telematics control unit -J526- → Chapter.
–  Perform initialisation → Chapter.
