• ‒ → Remove tailgate interior trim =>Fig.1.
• ‒ Unfasten catch at connector of vacuum line -1- and detach actuator -2-.

• ‒ Push out securing pins -arrow- and remove actuator -1- from lock -2-.
• ‒ On installation, clamping pins must be pressed back into expanding clips.
• ‒ Prise out with screwdriver if necessary.

Note:

The illustration shows the component already removed.

• ‒ Screw bolt -1- out of recessed handle moulding.
• ‒ Torque: 1.5 Nm + 0.5 Nm
• ‒ Unclip lower tailgate trim -2-.
• ‒ Unclip upper tailgate trim -3-.

Note:

When fitting trim at bottom, insert it into upper trim with guide webs.

Fig2    → Pipe routing

• ‒ Lay pressure/vacuum pipe in tie bands -4- as shown and engage in clips -3-.
• ‒ Engage connector -2- in actuator.
