• Windscreen
• ◆ Removing windscreen

• ◆ Installing windscreen => Page 64-21.
• ◆ Distance -a- between windscreen and roof frame = 4 mm.

Note:

• ◆ If applicable, on the windscreen, the attached label (e.g. Airbag), must be attached in the same place on the new windscreen.

• Masking strip
• ◆ Push on centrally before fitting windscreen.
• ◆ Note assembly mark on masking strip => Fig.1.

• Adhesive bead
• ◆ Bead cross-section and distance from edge of windscreen .
• Spacer
• ◆ Note different heights of spacers =>Fig.1.
• ◆ Outer spacer (2*) height = 6.5 mm
• ◆ Inner spacer (3*) height = 7.5 mm

• ‒ Bond on each of three inner spacers -6- (height = 7.5 mm) in centre of windscreen and centred with windscreen wiper marks -5- at a distance -b- = 25 mm±5 mm from bottom edge of windscreen.
• ‒ Bond on outer spacer -4- (height = 6.5 mm) at a distance -a- = 0 to 5 mm from outer and bottom edge of windscreen.
• ‒ When attaching masking strip -2- to windscreen -1- notches -arrow- must be flush with edge of windscreen.
• ‒ Insert filler piece -3-.
