Notes:

A lateral acceleration sensor is fitted under each of the front seats.

Sensor for lateral acceleration sensor is the same on left and right.

When installing, arrow faces outwards.

• ◆ Removing:

• ‒ Disconnect battery earthing strap/cable.
• ‒ Remove front seat
• ‒ Remove lower A-pillar trim => Page 70-68
• ‒ Unclip sill panel trim on inside and fold up.
• ‒ Lift floor covering -4- in area of sensor.

• ‒ Unplug connector -2- from lateral acceleration sensor -1-.

• ‒ → Unscrew bolts -3- (2x). Tightening torque 6 Nm.
• ‒ Remove lateral acceleration sensor -1-.

• ◆ Installing:

• ‒ Switch ignition on.
• ‒ Close doors.

• ‒ Connect battery earthing strap.
