Checking seat belts > < 5 - Removing and installing third rear three-point seat belt (Avant)

General Body Assembly, Interior (Repair groups 68, 69, 70, 72, 74)
Seat belts
6 - Anchorage points - centre floor panel

    • ‒ Remove rear seat bench
    • ‒ Unscrew bolt -5- (1x).
    • ◆ Seal -2- must always be replaced.
    • ◆ On installation, ensure buckle and/or lap belt engage(s) in anti-twist studs -4-.
    • ◆ Narrow side of buckle and/or lap belt must face in direction of travel.

  • Lap belt with retractor

Note:

On installation, ensure there is no contact with Iso Fix holder, turn lap belt with retractor, if necessary.

  • Sealing ring
  • Belt buckle
  • Anti-twist stud
  • Bolt
    • ‒ Tightening torque 50 Nm
    • ◆ Only use genuine bolts
  • Lap belt
