Removing and installing Bowden cable for lumbar support adjustment motor

  • Bowden cable for lumbar support adjustment motor
  • ◆ Removing
    • ‒ Remove seat => Page72-4
    • ‒ Remove seat side panel (memory seat, electric seat) on sill side
    • ‒ Remove seat side panel (memory seat, electric seat) on tunnel side
    • ‒ Remove backrest cover panel
    • ‒ Remove the backrest (memory seat, electric seat)
    • ‒ Remove side panels

    • ‒ To be able to slide up the anti-squeak pad -4-, press the cable clip -5- together and pull out the cable clip -5-.
    • ‒ Detach wire clip -7- at bottom left and right out of the backrest frame -9-.
    • ‒ Detach wire clip -7- at bottom out of the clips -8- (3x).
    • ‒ Fold wire clip -7- and the protective mat -6- upwards.
    • ‒ Detach Bowden cable -1- at the retaining tab -2- and at the guide roller -3-.
  • ◆ Installing
    • ‒ Install Bowden cable for lumbar support adjustment motor -1- in reverse order.
