• ◆ Slight differences may be encountered on removal and installation depending on equipment.
• ◆ For memory and electric seat: Before disconnecting the battery, move seat fully to the rear and to the uppermost height setting.
• ◆ Before disconnecting the battery, determine radio coding.

• ‒ Push seat forward.
• ‒ → Lever out trim cap -right arrow- and unscrew cross-head bolt beneath cap.
• ‒ Unscrew bolt - left arrow- and remove stopper to rear.

• ‒ → Unscrew cap nut -2- (8 Nm), and remove cheese-head bolt -3-. Tightening torque 8 Nm.
• ‒ Release locking rod -1- and pull seat to rear out of guide rails.

Note:

Attachment using cheese-head bolt -3- is gradually being replaced by a stop spring.

• ‒ → Unclip stop spring -4-.

• ‒ Pull up release lever and push out seat -3- to rear.

Note:

On vehicles with heated seats: Detach electrical connector.
