For greater clarity cushion is shown from below and without console. Upholstery work does not involve removing console.

• Seat shell
• Seat cover

• ◆ Removing
• ‒ Raise seat as far as possible.
• ‒ Remove seat
• ‒ Remove seat cushion => Page 72-78
• ‒ Set down cushion such that underside of seat shell -1- is readily accessible.
• ‒ If applicable, detach seat heating cables => Page 74-23
• ‒ Pull fabric -2- out of the seven insertion slots -4- on outside of seat pan.
• ‒ Disengage fabric fastening strips from fastening hooks -5- at seat shell.
• ‒ Detach both seat cover -2- and upholstery -3- (and if fitted seat heating/seat occupied sensor) from seat shell.
• ‒ Pull cover -2- off upholstery -3-.

• ◆ Installing
• ‒ Place upholstery -3- on cushion.
• ‒ Pull fabric fastening strips through slits in upholstery.
• ‒ Engage fastening strips at fastening hooks -5- at seat shell.
• ‒ Pull cover -2- completely over upholstery -3-.
• ‒ Fold edge of fabric with securing strips inwards.
• ‒ Press fabric securing strips into the seven seat-shell insertion slots -4- such that they engage.

• Padding
• Insertion slots on outside of seat shell (7x)
• Fastening hooks at seat shell
