Removing and installing head restraint fabric and upholstery

  • ‒ Remove head restraint guides =>Page 72-68
  • ◆ Removing
  • ‒ → Use screwdriver to press back fastening strips -2- from lugs -1-.
  • ‒ Pull out fastening strips -2- (3x).

  • ‒ → Take head restraint backing plate -1- before upholstery -2-.
  • ‒ Remove upholstery -2- in cover -3-.

  • ◆ Installing

Note:

Seams of fabric -3- must be properly inserted in recesses in upholstery -2-.

  • ‒ → Insert upholstery -2- in cover -3-.
  • ‒ Insert head restraint backing plate -1- into upholstery -2-.
  • ‒ Press fastening strips firmly into guide slot (check by pulling).
