Removing and installing seat cover > < Removing and installing backrest cover

General Body Assembly, Interior (Repair groups 68, 69, 70, 72, 74)
Front seat covers and upholstery
Replacing seat back heater element
  • ‒ Remove backrest cover
 
A72-0018
  • ‒ → Cut through the electrical wiring of the old heating in Item -B- (with the corresponding fastener).
  • ‒ Start bonding the new backrest heating element at the top.
  • ‒ Bond new heating element -1- (hatched area) free of folds,onto old heating element.
  • ‒ Insert the heating element into folds at Item -A-.
  • ‒ Push the electric wiring -2- through the intended opening of the upholstery.
