  • ◆ Removing
    • ‒ Removing driver's shelf .
    • ‒ Removing glove compartment
    • ‒ Removing rear section of centre console
    • ‒ Removing front section of centre console
    • ‒ Removing centre section of dash panel
    • ‒ Removing driver's airbag unit
    • ‒ Removing steering column
    • ‒ Removing passenger's airbag unit
    • ‒ Removing steering column trim
 
A70-0034
    • ‒ Unscrew bolts -2-, -3-, -5-, -6- and -7-.
    • ‒ On removal pull dash panel out of retainers -4-.

Note:

Dash panel is to be replaced whenever passenger's airbag has been triggered.

  • ◆ Installing
    • ‒ Install in reverse order.
    • ◆ Adjusting:
    • ‒ Dash panel must be centred in vehicle.
  • Bolt
    • ‒ Tightening torque 5 Nm
  • Bolts (3x)
    • ‒ Tightening torque 5 Nm
  • Retainer (2x)
    • ◆ With felt covering

    • ‒ Tightening torque 5 Nm
  • Bolts (2x)
    • ‒ Unscrew bolts on left and right side of dash panel.
    • ‒ Tightening torque 5 Nm
  • Bolts (2x)
    • ‒ Tightening torque 5 Nm
