Checking piston projection at TDC

→ When installing new pistons or a short engine, the piston projection at TDC should be checked. The appropriate cylinder head gasket based on the piston projection should be fitted according to the table below:

  • ◆ Part no. = arrow 1-
  • ◆ Control code = arrow 2 (Ignore!)
  • ◆ Holes = arrow 3

Note:

If varying piston projection measurements are recorded, the maximum value is applied to the gasket assignment process.
