• ◆ The function/control of the exhaust gas recirculation system is undertaken by diesel direct injection system control unit (J248) via EGR valve (N18) to mechanical exhaust gas recirculation valve.
• ◆ The tapered plunger in the mechanical exhaust gas recirculation valve varies the opening cross section according to valve travel.
• ◆ Every conceivable valve position is possible through pulsed control.
• ◆ Secure all hose connections with the correct hose clips (same as original equipment):
