Removing and installing coolant pump
Removing
l  Lock carrier must be in service position → Chapter.
–  Drain coolant → Chapter.
–  Remove toothed belt → Chapter.
–  Remove intake manifold (front section) → Chapter.
   
–  Lift off centre section of rear toothed belt cover -2-.
–  Unscrew bolts -right arrows- and detach rear left toothed belt cover -3-.

–  Unscrew bolts -arrows- and remove coolant pump.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

Renew gaskets and seals.
–  Install toothed belt (adjust valve timing) → Anchor.
–  Fill up with coolant → Anchor.
