At the factory a special quality multiple-use oil is used to top up the tank, which can be used throughout the year except in extremely cold climate zones.

The specific stated here must be indicated individually or together with other specifications on the container.

When topping up, different types of oil may be mixed if necessary.

→ The viscosity classesof the oil must be selected according to illustration. If the outside temperature briefly exceeds the ranges stated it is not necessary to change the oil.

• ‒ A - Multiple application high lubricity oils,
  specification VW 500 00 1)
• ‒ A - Multiple application high lubricity oils,
  specification VW 501 01 1)

• ‒ A- Multiple high lubricity oils, specification API-SF 2)or SG 2)

• 1) The date behind this VW standard must not be older than 10.91.
• 2) These oils may only be used when no approved engine oil is available.
