Always switch off ignition before detaching/attaching control unit connector.

Adapting control unit for engine electronics to electronic immobiliser

Test prerequisites:

  • ● Availability of authorised vehicle key
  • ‒ Connect fault reader V.A.G 1551

→ Enter 25 for address word "Immobiliser" and acknowledge with Q.

    • ‒ Enter 00 for "Channel number 0" and acknowledge with Q.
     
    → Display:
    Adaption    Q
    Erase adaption values?
    • ‒ Acknowledge entry by pressing Q button.
     
    → Display:
    Adaption    ⇒
    Adaption values erased
    • ‒ Terminate adaption by pressing ⇒-button.

    Note:

    Engine control unit identifier is read into immobiliser control unit when ignition is next switched on.
