Description of function

The electric fuel pump sends a pressurised stream of fuel into the suction jet pump (entrainment pump) in the rear chamber of the tank.

The suction jet pump then delivers the fuel from the rear chamber into the front part of the tank and the supply pipe going to the injection pump.

It is not possible to empty the rear fuel tank chamber completely if the fuel pump or the suction jet pump are defective.
