Notes:

  • ◆ Fitting location of fuel filter: at rear of engine compartment, right side.
  • ◆ All hose connections must be secured with hose clips (same as original parts).

  • Bracket
    • ◆ For fuel filter
  • Securing clip

  • Fuel return pipe
    • ◆ From injection pump
  • Control valve
    • ◆ Installation position: arrow points towards fuel tank
    • ◆ When changing filter, remove securing clip and take control valve off complete with fuel pipes
    • ◆ Watch O-ring in filter housing when fitting valve
    • ◆ Temperatures below + 15 °C:
      Passage to filter open
    • ◆ Temperatures over + 31 °C:
      Passage to filter closed
  • Fuel return pipe
    • ◆ To fuel tank
  • Fuel supply pipe
    • ◆ From fuel tank

  • Water drain screw
    - 4 Nm
  • Seal
    • ◆ Renew
  • Fuel filter
    • ◆ With seal for control valve
    • ◆ Flow direction is marked by an arrow
    • ◆ Do not interchange connections
    • ◆ Drain off water or renew filter at intervals specified in Service Schedule

    • ◆ Fill with diesel before installing
  • Fuel supply pipe
    • ◆ To injection pump
  • Plastic insert
    • ◆ Slide onto filter
  • 10 Nm
