Removing

• ‒ Remove flange => Removing fuel delivery unit, from Page 20-72.
• ‒ Pull out flange carefully and place to one side with supply pipe connected.
• ‒ Unplug connector for fuel gauge sender on inside of flange.

• ‒ → Press retaining tab, and at the same time pull the sender unit out of baffle housing in fuel tank -arrows-.

Notes:

• ◆ The baffle housing is shown without the fuel tank for a clearer illustration.
• ◆ The sender unit and baffle housing shown are for vehicles with front-wheel drive.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this note the following:

• ‒ Insert fuel gauge sender into guide on outer section of baffle housing and press down until it clicks into place.
• ‒ Install flange => Page 20-76; observe notes on procedure for connecting battery.
