Equipment

  • ◆ The data transfer between the control unit and vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 (or fault reader V.A.G 1551) is carried out in "Rapid data transfer" mode.
  • ◆ The fault memory is equipped with a non-volatile memory and therefore does not depend on the power supply.
  • ◆ Faults relating to the electronic throttle are also indicated by the EPC warning lamp in the dash panel insert (EPC = electronic power control).
