Servicing high-level brake light > < Removing and installing rear light

Removing and installing bulb carrier
Removing and installing bulb carrier
Removing
–  Switch off ignition and take out ignition key.
–  Turn light switch to position “0”.
–  Remove cover on luggage compartment side trim.
   
Left side of vehicle:
–  Remove bolts -arrows- (if fitted).
–  Detach retaining frame -1- for CD changer (navigation system).
–  Lay aside retaining frame with connected wiring.
Right side of vehicle:
–  Detach retaining strap for central locking pump.
–  Lay aside central locking pump with wiring/hoses connected.

Both sides (continued):
–  Unclip retaining clip and detach insulation -2-.
  A94-10376
–  Unplug electrical connector -1-.
–  Compress catches -arrows- and remove bulb carrier -2- from rear light towards passenger compartment.
–  Detach bulbs from bulb holders.
Installing
Install in reverse order.
