Adjusting linkage on actuator
Adjusting linkage on actuator
–  Start engine and run at idling speed.
l  Throttle valve in idling speed position.
–  Slacken lock nut on linkage to cruise control system vacuum unit.
   
Vehicles with 4-cyl. engine:
–  Screw in linkage -2- as far as stop and then approx. 1 turn back.
–  Check clearance between linkage -2- and actuator -1-.
l  Dimension -a- = 0.5 ... 1.0 mm.

Vehicles with 6-cyl. engine:
–  Screw in linkage -2- as far as stop and then approx. 1 turn back.
–  Check clearance between linkage -2- and stop plate on cam plate -1-.
l  Dimension -a- = 0.5 ... 1.0 mm.
All models:
–  Tighten nut on linkage to cruise control system vacuum unit.
