Removing and installing washer fluid reservoir

Removing –  If fitted, remove cover -arrow- from power steering reservoir.

–  Unscrew bolt -arrow-.

–  Remove front wheel (left-side). –  Remove front wheel housing liner (left-side) → Rep. Gr.66. –  Unscrew bolts -arrows-. –  Swivel washer fluid reservoir -1- slightly to rear. Audi S4/RS4: –  Unplug electrical connector -2-. –  Mark washer fluid hoses -3- and -4- for re-installation on washer fluid pump. –  Detach washer fluid hoses at washer fluid pump.

–  Unplug electrical connector -1- at washer fluid pump -2- for headlight washer system. –  Press release tab and pull off hose connector -3-.   Note Shown with bumper and headlight removed for illustration purposes.

Audi A4: –  Unplug electrical connector -1-. –  Detach washer fluid hoses at washer fluid pump -2-.   Note Shown with bumper and headlight removed for illustration purposes. All models: –  Take out washer fluid reservoir downwards. Installing Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following: –  Install front wheel housing liner (left-side) → Rep. Gr.66. Tightening torques
