The control unit is located behind the driver's storage compartment.

Removing

• ‒ Remove storage compartment on driver's side

=> General Body Assembly, Interior; Repair group 68; Storage compartments, covers; Removing driver's storage compartment

• ‒ → Detach connectors from control unit -3-.
• ‒ Unscrew both securing bolts -1- (5 Nm) and detach control unit -3- together with bracket -2- from dash panel cross member.

Installing:

• ‒ Installation is carried out in reverse sequence to removal.

Note:

It is essential that the "Navigation System Complaint Form" is completed and returned together with the defective component following replacement of the control unit.
