The quality of the image must deteriorate noticeably when the remote power supply is switched on.
  • ‒ Press RETURN to exit the function.

Test options:

  • ◆ Information concerning the functionality of the respective aerial amplifier can be obtained by switching on and off (ON or OFF position) the remote power supply to the aerial amplifier in question.
  • ◆ The CAN bus is tested with regard to hardware and software (partial test) by operating the TV diversity receiver via the Audi RNS.
  • ◆ The main functions of the television receiver are activated and the audio/video link guaranteed by commissioning the TV system, selecting a channel and invoking the video text.
  • ◆ Should a fault arise (no change in the image), the only way to ascertain whether there is an open circuit in the aerial cable or the TV aerial amplifier is defective is to check the voltage (10V) at the coaxial cable (inner conductor) on the amplifier side.
