Removing and installing aerial amplifier under D-pillartrim ("symphony" radio) -Saloon-

Removing

  • ‒ Remove left D-pillar trim.

=> General Body Assembly, Interior; Repair group 70; Trims; Removing and installing C/D-pillar trim

  • ‒ → Release aerial wire -1- and detach connector -2-.
  • ‒ Remove securing screw -3- (2.5 Nm) and detach aerial amplifier -4-.

Installing:

  • ‒ When installing, ensure that the anti-twist element on the aerial amplifier is inserted in the mounting hole -5-, then perform installation in reverse order.

Note:

The installation procedure for the aerial amplifier under the right D-pillar trim is a mirror image of that for the amplifier under the left D-pillar trim.
