Note:

If a CD changer is present, this must be removed .

The base loudspeaker (subwoofer) is located in the luggage compartment behind the left side trim.

Removing

• ‒ Open left storage compartment in luggage compartment.
• ‒ Remove left side trim.

=> General Body Assembly; Repair group 70; Avant trims; Removing and installing left and right side trims

• ‒ Disconnect electrical connector for bass loudspeaker -8- plus connector -7- for BOSE sound system.
• ‒ Release screw connection -5- (3.5 Nm).
• ‒ Remove bass loudspeaker (subwoofer) -1- from side panel.

Installing:

• ‒ Install in reverse sequence to removal.
