General notes

Measures for rectifying commonly occurring faults on particular models

=> Technical Service Handbook

The new generation of seat adjustment systems with memory function has self-diagnosis capability. The control unit for seat adjustment with memory function incorporates a fault memory.

Any faults which occur in the monitored components/wiring are stored in the fault memory with details of the type of fault.

If any adjustment components are replaced the new components must be adapted and a basic setting must be initiated .
