t  Engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-

t  Seat repair stand -VAS 6136-
Removing
  Note
Seat occupied sensor (front passenger side) -G128- is only fitted on passenger side.
  WARNING
Observe safety regulations for pyrotechnic components → Chapter.
–  Remove front passenger's seat:
t  Front seats (standard seats) - vehicles up to 10.2004 → Chapter
t  Front seats (standard seats) - vehicles from 11.2004 onwards → Chapter
t  Front seats (with seat memory, electric adjustment) - vehicles up to 10.2004 → Chapter
t  Front seats (with seat memory, electric adjustment) - vehicles from 11.04 onwards → Chapter
t  Recaro seats (front) - vehicles up to 10.2004 → Chapter
t  Recaro seats (front) - vehicles from 11.2004 onwards → Chapter
–  Remove seat pan cover and padding:
t  1.1 Removing and installing cover and padding for seat cushion (standard seat) → Chapter
t  1.2 Removing and installing seat pan cover and padding (sports seat) → Chapter
t  2.1 Removing and installing seat pan cover and padding (standard seat) → Chapter
t  2.2 Removing and installing seat pan cover and padding (sports seat) → Chapter
t  3.1 Removing and installing seat pan cover and padding → Chapter

  Note
Detach padding from backrest just far enough to gain access to the seat occupied sensor (front passenger side) -G128--2-.

–  Unplug connector of seat occupied sensor (front passenger side) -G128--2-.
–  Carefully disconnect seat occupied sensor (front passenger side) -G128--2- from seat padding -1-.
Installing
  WARNING
Observe safety regulations for pyrotechnic components → Chapter.
Install in reverse order of removal. Observe the following:
  A69-10203
–  Position printed circuit board -4- of seat occupied sensor (front passenger side) -G128--2- in cut-out -3- in seat padding -1-.
–  Align seat occupied sensor (front passenger side) -G128--2- on seat padding -1- as shown in illustration.
–  Peel off protective film and stick seat occupied sensor (front passenger side) -G128--2- onto seat padding -1-.
