Connecting airbag adapter -VAS 6036-

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Vehicle diagnostic tester

t	Airbag adapter -VAS 6036-

WARNING

Before disconnecting igniter and earth wires, the mechanic must discharge static electricity by briefly touching door striker plate or body.

WARNING

Leave airbag adapter -VAS 6036- connected to seat until seat has been re-installed.

1 -	Current supply connector, on seat wiring (red)

2 -	Current supply connector, on adapter wiring (red)

3 -	Side airbag connector, on adapter wiring (orange)

–	Detach igniter and earth wires.

–	Attach airbag connector -4- to airbag adapter connector -3-.

4 -	Side airbag connector, on seat wiring (orange)
