| q | Removing: |
| – | Remove backrest cover panel → Chapter. |
| – | Use screwdriver to prise out fastening strips -10- (4x). |
| – | Place foil between padding and backrest frame as protection against metal particles. |
| – | Drill out rivet -7-. |
| – | Disengage four-way lumbar support frame -4- at top left and right from backrest frame. |
| – | Unplug electrical connectors at four-way lumbar support control motors -5- and -9-. |
| – | Unfasten Velcro strip between four-way lumbar support -2- and backrest padding -1-. |
| – | Disengage four-way lumbar support at top of four-way lumbar support frame. |
| – | Take out four-way lumbar support. |
| q | Installing: |
| Installation is carried out in the reverse order, note the following: |
| – | Place plastic foil over Velcro strips of four-way lumbar support. Secure plastic foil in position at four-way lumbar support → Fig. |
| – | Make sure four-way lumbar support is secured in position with transportation safeguard or a suitable pin at four-way lumbar support frame → Fig. |
| – | Place frame for four-way lumbar support behind backrest frame and engage frame for four-way lumbar support at top (left and right) in mounting for backrest frame. |
| – | Rivet four-way lumbar support frame at bottom to backrest frame. When doing so, always place a plastic pad between four-way lumbar support frame and backrest frame → Fig. |
| – | Pull out plastic foil between backrest padding and four-way lumbar support. |
| – | Fasten Velcro strip of four-way lumbar support to backrest padding by pressing in. |
| – | Plug in electrical connectors at four-way lumbar support adjustment motors. |
