Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1410-
  W00-0554
t  Engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-
  W00-1273
t  Seat repair stand -VAS 6136-
  W00-1274
1 - Connector
2 - Seat rake adjustment motor
t  Removing:
–  Remove seat → Chapter.
–  Attach seat repair stand -VAS 6136- to engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-.
–  Attach front seat to seat repair stand -VAS 6136-.
–  Remove bolts -5- (2x).
–  Unscrew bolt -4-.
–  Unplug connector -1-.
–  Remove bolts -3- (2x).
–  Take out seat rake adjustment motor -2-.
t  Installing:
Install in reverse order of removal.

10 Nm
q   2x
4 - Bolt
q   3.5 Nm
5 - Bolt
5 Nm
q   2x
