Unplugging connectors

Note

Before disconnecting igniter and earth wires, the mechanic must discharge static electricity by briefly touching door striker plate or body.

1 -	Front seat

2 -	Connector for belt buckle sensor (black)

3 -	Connector for seat heating (green)

4 -	Connector for current supply (red)

5 -	Connector for airbag (orange)

6 -	Cover for connector point

Removing:

–	Tilt front seat -1- backwards.

–	Lift off cover for connector point -6-.

–	Press in tab at airbag connector -5- (tunnel side) and unplug airbag connector -5-.

–	Connect airbag adapter → Chapter.

–	Press in tab at current supply connector -4- (tunnel side) and unplug current supply connector -4-.

–	Press in tab at seat heating connector -3- (tunnel side) and unplug seat heating connector -3-.

Vehicles with belt buckle sensor:

–	Press in tab at belt buckle sensor connector -2- (tunnel end) and unplug belt buckle sensor connector -2-.

t	Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal.
