Dismantling and assembling storage compartment Dismantling storage compartment –  Remove storage compartment → Chapter. Removing trim

–  Use removal wedge -3409- to unclip trim -1- from retaining tabs -arrows- (4x) on inner section -2-. Removing handle with locking mechanism –  Remove trim → Anchor.

–  Pull shaft -1- out of inner section -3-. –  Detach handle with locking mechanism -4-, torsion spring -2- and shaft -1-. Removing insert   Note t  The insert is only placed in the inner section and not secured. t  For greater clarity, illustration does not show trim and handle with locking mechanism. –  Open storage compartment.

–  Take insert -1- out of inner section -2-. Taking inner section out of outer section –  Open storage compartment.

–  Press catches -2- (2x) upwards in direction of -arrow A-. –  Swivel inner section -1- downwards in direction of -arrow B-.

–  Pull outer section -1- out of guide -arrow- on inner section -2-. Assembling storage compartment Assemble in reverse order. Observe the following:

–  Engage torsion spring -1- so that short arm -arrow A- rests on inner section -2- and long arm -arrow B- rests on handle -3-.
