t  Engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-

t  Seat repair stand -VAS 6136-
  Note
On the driver's seat shown in the illustration, the motor for adjusting the height of the four-way lumbar support is on the left and the four-way lumbar support motor is on the right.

1 - Hook
2 - Bowden cable for four-way lumbar support
3 - Four-way lumbar support
4 - Retaining pin
5 - Guide roller
6 - Rivets (4x)
7 - Four-way lumbar support motors (2x)
t  Removing
–  Remove seat → Chapter.
–  Attach seat repair stand -VAS 6136- to engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-.
–  Attach front seat to seat repair stand -VAS 6136-.
–  Remove backrest cover panel → Chapter.
–  Unplug connector -8-.
–  Drill out rivets -6- (2x).
–  Remove motor on other side in the same way.
–  Disengage Bowden cable for adjusting height of four-way lumbar support -9- at hook -1-.
–  Disengage Bowden cable for four-way lumbar support -2- at retaining pin -4- and guide roller -5-.
–  Take out four-way lumbar support motors -7- (2x).
t  Installing:
–  Install four-way lumbar support motors -7- in reverse order of removal.
8 - Connectors (2x)
9 - Bowden cable for adjusting height of four-way lumbar support
