| – | Remove backrest → Chapter. |
| – | Remove bolts -2- (2x) of latch trim -1-. |
| – | Press latch lever -3- in direction of arrow. |
| – | Lift off latch trim -1-. |
| – | Remove head restraints -4-: |
| t | Head restraints with slide-in locking mechanism → Chapter |
| t | Head restraint without slide-in locking mechanism → Chapter |
| – | Remove head restraint guides -5-: |
| t | Head restraint guides with slide-in locking mechanism → Chapter |
| t | Outer head restraint guides without slide-in locking mechanism → Chapter |
| t | Inner head restraint guides without slide-in locking mechanism → Chapter |
| – | Remove centre armrest -11-. |
| – | Remove load-through hatch -11- → Chapter. |
| – | Use screwdriver to prise out cover for three-point seat belt -12-. |
| – | Prise plastic strip -6- (4x) out of brackets -7- (4x). |
| – | Detach plastic strip -8- (4x) from bracket. |
| – | Use screwdriver to prise out peripheral plastic strip (rear) -13-. |
| – | Detach padding -15- from backrest pan -9-. |
| – | Fold over cover -14-. |
| – | Use screwdriver to prise fastening strip -16- out of plastic clip -17-. |
| – | Remove cover -14-. |

| 2 - | Bolt (2x) |
| 3 - | Latch lever |
| 4 - | Head restraint (2x) |
| q | Rear outer head restraints are not identical to front head restraints. |
| q | If all head restraints are removed together mark them accordingly with adhesive tape. |
