Removing and installing backrest heating element (glued in)
Removing and installing backrest heating element (glued in)
Removing:
–  Remove seat: vehicles up to 10.2004 → Chapter; vehicles from 11.2004 onwards → Chapter.
–  Remove cover for backrest section → Chapter.
   
–  Cut cable -3- off old heating element -1-.
Installing:
–  Align heating elements -1- on surface of backrest, pull off backing and bond heating elements firmly to surfaces of padding.
–  Insert wire -3- in gap -4-.
–  At locations marked -2- route connecting wires in base of slots, avoiding crossover.
