| Removing and installing seat cushion cover and padding (standard seat) |

| t | Removing: |
| – | Remove seat: vehicles up to 10.2004 → Chapter; vehicles from 11.2004 onwards → Chapter. |
| – | Remove backrest: vehicles up to 10.2004 → Chapter; vehicles from 11.2004 onwards → Chapter. |
| – | Unclip connector for seat heating -2- from retainer. |
| – | Use screwdriver to prise out peripheral plastic strips -3-. |
| – | Fold back cover -1-. |
| – | Use screwdriver to prise fastening strips -4- out of plastic clips -5-. |
| – | Lift off cover -1-. |
| – | Detach padding -6-. |
| t | Installing: |
| Install in reverse order of removal. Observe the following: |
| – | Always renew damaged plastic clips -5-. |
| – | On vehicles with ISOFIX retainer and new cover fabric -1-, cut slots in fabric cover at location of ISOFIX retainer → Chapter. |

| q | Renew plastic clips if damaged |
