Removing and installing floor covering
1 - 
t  Removing:
–  Remove front seats (left and right) → Chapter.
–  Remove seat bench (rear): vehicles up to 10.2004 → Chapter, vehicles from 11.2004 onwards → Chapter.
–  Remove A-pillar trim (bottom, left and right) → Chapter.
–  Remove B-pillar trim (bottom, left and right) → Chapter.
–  Remove foot rest (driver side)  → Chapter.
–  Remove centre console → Chapter.
–  Unfasten wiring harness beneath centre console.
–  Unfasten rubber plug -4- beneath centre console and unscrew bolt -5-.
–  Take wiring harness out of vehicle.
–  Remove air ducts at centre console.
–  Slacken off bolt -3- at lug of floor covering at front of footwell.
–  Fold up floor covering lengthways and take out of vehicle.
t  Installing:
  Note
Floor covering is liable to tear easily at cut-outs. Fit floor covering in vehicle carefully.
–  Fold up new floor covering lengthways and place in vehicle.
–  Before fitting a new floor covering -1-, remove transportation crosspiece -2-.
–  Install floor covering in reverse order of removal.
