Removing and installing rear cross panel trim
Removing and installing rear cross panel trim
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1410-
  W00-0554
1 - Bolts (4x)
q   Tightening torque: 5 Nm
2 - Rear cross panel trim
t  Removing:
–  Open flap for luggage compartment floor.
–  Unscrew bolts -1- (4x).
–  Pull rear cross panel trim -2- carefully off retaining pins -arrows-.
t  Installing:
Install in reverse order of removal. Observe the following:
–  Rubber seal for rear lid must be fitted over rear cross panel trim.
–  Tighten bolts to 5 Nm.
