Removing and installing brake caliper (C/SiC)
Removing and installing brake caliper (C/SiC)
Exploded view
   
4 - Brake caliper housing
q   If assembly work is required, do not suspend caliper from brake hose but tie it to body with a piece of wire.
10 - Ribbed bolt
q   190 Nm
q   Clean ribs if using again.
11 - Brake carrier
13 - Bolt for bracket
q   25 Nm
16 - Bracket for brake line
q   Attach brake line

Removing
   
–  Unscrew bolt -13- and detach bracket -16- for brake line.
–  Slacken and remove the two ribbed bolts -10- on the brake carrier.
  WARNING
DO NOT slacken off bolts -1- on brake caliper.
–  Remove brake caliper. Leave brake carrier -11- in position on brake caliper.
Installing
–  Installation is carried out in reverse sequence.
  Note
Take care not to twist brake hose.
